Location: Minneapolis MN 55415

Duration: 12+ months (Possibility of extension)

Pay range: $40- $53

Job Description:

• In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Sourcing and contribute to large-scale planning related to Sourcing deliverables
• Review and analyze moderately complex Sourcing challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Sourcing deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with Client personnel in Sourcing
• Required Qualifications: 4+ years of Sourcing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
• A Sourcing Consultant 3 is a procurement and vendor management professional who helps the company purchase products and services from external suppliers.
• The role focuses on finding vendors, negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, controlling costs, and ensuring purchases comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the sourcing and procurement process for goods and services.
• Identifying and evaluating potential vendors and suppliers.
• Conducting competitive bidding processes (RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs).
• Negotiating pricing, terms, service levels, and contract provisions.
• Reviewing and drafting contracts in partnership with legal and business stakeholders.
• Performing financial analysis to evaluate vendor proposals and cost-saving opportunities.
• Managing multiple sourcing projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
• Building relationships with internal business partners and external suppliers.
• Monitoring vendor performance and ensuring contractual obligations are met.
