What to Expect
We are seeking a full-time Account Manager focused on supporting and growing strategic partnerships for our Residential Channel sales team. As a sales leader,you'llaccelerate the sales growth ofResi Energy Productswith our existing B2B national key financier partners focused on growing energy storage in the residential market space. In addition,you'llonboard new national and regional financier partners, ensure our products are listed on their Approved Vendor lists (AVLs), and work cross-functionally to support financier grid services and data integration initiatives. This is an exciting career opportunity in a fast-paced environment that requires wearing several hats.Past experiencemanaging B2B strategic relationships is a must and previous experience with electrical/solar/energy storage distributorsand EPCsis highly encouraged.Deep understanding of residential energy financing landscapes and competitive offerings.Besides a rock-solid work ethic and a strong team-oriented personality, leaders on our team display excellent communication skills (internal and external) creativity, passion, and a desire to break new ground in a constantly shifting landscape. This role is eligible for remote work.
What You'll Do
- Manage day to day existing partnership relationships and expectations while also supporting the onboarding of new financier partners in markets that requireadditionalsales & service coverage
- Travel to partner locations, industry events, and partner sales meetings on a consistent basis to deliver best practices for financing Teslaresienergy projects
- Work with multiple internal teams such as Marketing,Legal,Products, Service, Operations, Supply Chain, Training, Service, etc. to create, launch, and support new initiatives that driveadditionalvolume of products
- Operationalize, track, and execute safe harborstrategies
- Developtraining materials on the financier landscape and educateinternalsales teams to enhance sales of our products
- Drivedomestic content strategiesto ensure DC-coupled solutions for Powerwall are available to Certified Installers
- Work cross-functionally to bringnew offers,new ideas, and new concepts to market
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor'sDegree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years relevant work experience in tech sales; solar and storage experience a plus
- Demonstratedtrack recordof building pipeline and winning business
- Entrepreneurial mindset - proven ability to scale new products and services
- Past experiencebuilding networks and relationships at all levels of an organization( internal& external)
- Excellent organization, communication, and documentation skills
