Job Scope This is a hands-on instrumentation design and development position ideally suited for the hardware engineer who enjoys designing, building, testing and debugging complex state-of-the-art optical instruments, specifically conventional and imaging flow cytometry cell analysis systems. Lens design and optical engineering to drive development of optical and opto-mechanical systems and components related to existing and new product development. Creating documentation, i.e., requirements definition, specifications, test plans, ECO's etc., as required, supporting R&D, Manufacturing, Field Service, Customer Service, and other departments with respect to new product development and support to existing products. Creating optical models for design and engineering analysis using Zemax Optic Studio and other software tools. What you will be doing:
