BPMA Testing Technician (Contract-to-Hire)

Pay: $32-$40/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Join an innovative aerospace engineering team as a BPMA Testing Technician supporting the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and validation of advanced propulsion and electromechanical systems. This is an excellent contract-to-hire opportunity for experienced technicians seeking long-term career growth in a high-tech manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities



  • Perform functional, mechanical, and electrical testing of aerospace components, assemblies, and propulsion hardware.
  • Set up and operate test equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and data acquisition systems.
  • Troubleshoot test failures and identify root causes in mechanical, electrical, fluid, and electromechanical systems.
  • Assemble, modify, and rework precision components and assemblies.
  • Collect, analyze, and document test results while maintaining quality and traceability standards.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and work instructions.
  • Support prototype builds, production testing, and continuous process improvement initiatives.



Qualifications



  • 2+ years of experience in testing, manufacturing, aerospace, electronics, mechanical assembly, or a related technical field.
  • Experience using diagnostic and test equipment.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with engineering and production teams.



Preferred Experience



  • Aerospace, propulsion, vacuum, fluid, or electromechanical systems testing.
  • Pressure testing, leak testing, instrumentation, or data acquisition systems.
  • AS9100, regulated manufacturing, or high-reliability environments.
  • Soldering, mechanical assembly, machining, or electrical troubleshooting.


U.S. Citizenship Required due to government contract requirements.
