JOB SUMMARY |
In conjunction with the human resources and professional leadership teams, the Training Coordinator will coordinate the implementation, facilitation and/or evaluation of professional employee training and self-learning programs. The incumbent will ensure the agile and effective dispersion of relevant knowledge and skills in key business competencies and skills that include but are not limited to leadership, communication, safety, lean management, human resources compliance, conflict management and other soft skills development. The incumbent will also be asked to help promote the creation, organization, process management and sharing of knowledge of experts and specialists. |
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Coordinate the training and development model based on the needs of the business units and as laid out through established and assigned KPIs.
- Estimate and propose the annual budget defined for the training of the professional workforce from the monthly control of expenditures.
- Coordinate with corporate team and resources to develop and implement priority training strategies.
- Administering training plans with internal and external suppliers based on the needs of the different business units (i.e. Engineering, Commercial Sales, Accounting/Finance, Safety, Projects, IT and Field Services).
- In conjunction with human resources leadership, facilitate HR-related training across teams.
- Monitor, track and report on the training hours, progress, skills development and provide status reports to leadership teams.
- Evaluate training providers according to the requirements of the areas.
- Champion a continuous learning approach to enhance organizational capability and foster innovation.
- Collaborate with leaders to build credible and effective working relationships across departments.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to professional development and create a culture of continuous and shared learning.
- Support recruitment needs and the full recruitment cycle, employee relations and learning/development
- Participate and at times lead broader HR projects, programs, teams and initiatives.
- Assist with other special HR projects as necessary, working across business as needed.
- Utilize ATS and other platforms for training, development, and recruitment

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES |
- Must have demonstrated skill sets and abilities using learning management systems (LMS), course authoring tools and have intermediate to advance skill sets with MS Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Knowledge and practice in adult learning theories, applications and structural design
- Advise experts in the process of documenting, tracking and reporting on key business competencies and completed training for new hires and tenured employees
- Proven ability to coordinate and/or lead logistics of events, courses or programs
- Demonstrated capability to generate educational solutions based on the training needs of the business units
- Strong commitment to professional development and knowledge of how to build a culture of continuous learning to develop HR capability.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing best practices

| EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE |
Required Education / Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration or related field
Preferred Education / Experience
- 2+ years' experience in Human Resources
- Experience working on an HR team
- Employee onboarding, ATS and/or HRIS systems
- Manufacturing industry experience
