WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- Install, test, and troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems, circuits, and equipment
- Install wireways, conduits, and cable trays in accordance with NEC standards and customer specifications
- Perform utility wire connections and demonstrate a strong understanding of electrical circuits
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and layout drawings
- Thread conduit and fabricate raceway systems as required
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in safe, working condition
- Train and mentor employees on your assigned shift
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Promote a safe workplace by adhering to safety protocols and participating in safety meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
YOU HAVE:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Vocational or technical degree in electrical technology, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Minimum of 3 years of industrial or commercial electrical experience
- Master or Journeyman Electrician License preferred
- Solid knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Experience working with commercial and industrial equipment, including:
- Motor Control Centers (MCCs)
- Substation switchgear
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
