Role Overview

The Virtual Account Manager supports business growth and customer satisfaction across a portfolio of accounts. In this role, you will manage day-to-day customer relationships, identify new opportunities, and support the sales process from start to finish-primarily through a virtual model. You will collaborate closely with Territory Managers and National Account Managers to expand customer engagement and increase sales capacity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage assigned accounts, focusing on customer engagement, retention, and growth
  • Support the full sales process for lower-complexity opportunities, including proposals, renewals, and closing activities
  • Identify new sales opportunities using customer data, interactions, and follow-up activities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer contacts, pipeline activity, and next steps
  • Build strong relationships with customers to support satisfaction, product use, and long-term partnerships
  • Provide coordination and support to field sales teams, including Territory and National Account Managers
  • Handle routine account needs, including follow-up, contact management, and implementation support
  • Respond to and help resolve customer inquiries, billing questions, and service concerns
  • Escalate risks, service issues, or barriers to the appropriate internal partners when needed
  • Spot growth signals and communicate when accounts may need expanded sales support
  • Stay informed on radiopharmaceutical products, market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity (including SPECT, PET, and Gallium products)
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2-4 years of inside sales, account management, or customer-facing experience
  • Experience managing customer relationships and sales pipelines
  • Proven ability to support revenue growth and customer retention
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or radiopharmacy environments (preferred)
  • Experience supporting field-based sales teams (preferred)
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and data-driven selling (preferred)
  • Certified Sales Professional (CSP) or similar sales certification (preferred)
  • CRM or sales methodology training (e.g., Salesforce, MEDDICC) (preferred)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams
  • Customer-focused with strong responsiveness and problem-solving skills
  • Effective time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of account management, CRM systems, pipeline tracking, and data analysis
