Security Officer Full Time Patrol Team

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Team in Ashburn, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal in an unarmed patrol role where you will monitor and patrol a property location, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. In this position, you will complete routine patrols, respond to site needs, and contribute to a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and driven by integrity.

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, tenants, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with supervisors and/or local contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including building common areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity and security-related concerns.
• Monitor the property for unauthorized access, maintenance-related issues, and/or policy violations, and report observations according to post instructions.
• Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with directions and general inquiries, and completing required reports, logs, and other security-related documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
