Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, storefront areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, observe for policy violations, and assist with access control, loss prevention support, and/or crowd management during busy business periods.
• Support opening and closing activities, remain visible throughout the location, and communicate clearly with management, employees, and/or first responders regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
