About the role: This position supports the administration of employee benefit programs across the United States and Canada. Contributes to The People Office (TPO) Operations processes by ensuring accurate benefits administration, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures, and providing a positive employee experience. Assists employees, managers, vendors, and internal stakeholders with benefit-related inquiries while supporting operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives. What you will be doing: This role supports operational processes within Benefits Administration and contributes to the achievement of departmental objectives. Performs day-to-day benefits administration activities while ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with established procedures. Works with employees, vendors, payroll, and Human Resources partners to resolve routine and moderately complex benefit inquiries. Assists with benefits transactions throughout the employee lifecycle, including enrollments, life event changes, eligibility verification, and terminations. Maintains data integrity within HR systems and supports benefit program administration across U.S. and Canadian populations. Develops knowledge of benefit programs, policies, and operational procedures while working under general supervision. Participates in process improvement efforts and contributes to a collaborative team environment. This is a developing individual contributor role requiring moderate experience in Benefits Administration, Human Resources Operations, or related functions. Operates independently on routine work while receiving guidance on more complex issues. * Administer U.S. and Canadian benefit programs in accordance with company policies and procedures. * Process enrollments, life event changes, dependent verification, beneficiary updates, and employee benefit terminations. * Respond to employee inquiries regarding eligibility, enrollment, coverage, vendors, and plan provisions. * Coordinate with vendors, payroll, and HR teams to resolve benefit-related issues. * Support annual enrollment activities and employee benefit communications. * Maintain accurate records and data within HR and benefits administration systems. * Assist with audits, reporting activities, and compliance reviews. * Identify process improvement opportunities and support operational efficiencies. * Other related duties assigned as needed.
