The team manages all currency risk and pricing across the different entities and business lines, and our associated hedging activities that underpin our cross border business. The team acts as financial market SMEs, working alongside Product, Technology and Commercialization to structure and bring to market new products whilst protecting Visa from financial risk What an eFX Trader does at Visa: Visa is engaged in a multi-year FX investment cycle and this role will be responsible for providing technical expertise, supporting operational implementation delivery and covering the day-to-day operations of the eFX (electronic FX) trading business. The core responsibilities of this role involve both managing market risk as part of BAU as well as support on-going FX infrastructure work across Visa:
This role will report to the Global Head of FX Trading and act as a leader as we build out a specialist trading function in Singapore, supporting regional analytics and reporting, as well as representing Trading in local business discussions. Why this is important to Visa This multi-year FX investment cycle underpins the majority of the strategic pillars that support the company's 2030 plans and act as the single runway to create, launch and manage new cross border products for Visa. This is a hybrid position to be located in our Foster City, CA office location. Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. As such, this is a strategically critical area of the business with high visibility U.S. Applicants Only The estimated salary range for this positionis $129,200.00 to $ 206,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.Work Hours Varies upon the needs of the department. Travel Requirements This position requires travel 5-10% of the time. Mental/Physical Requirements This position will be performed in an office setting.
