National Grid is hiring a Senior Engineer (Electrical Asset Management), Electrical Engineering for a Hybrid local to Waltham, MA Job Purpose
The Senior Engineer provides the technical leadership for transmission line engineering standards, design, guidance, and material specifications that support safe, reliable, compliant, and constructible transmission assets across National Grid's U.S. service territory. This role owns and advances standards for new and existing transmission lines from 69 kV through 345 kV, aligning technical requirements with business objectives, regulatory obligations, field execution needs, and emerging industry practices. Key Accountabilities
* Lead the development, revision, and implementation of transmission line engineering standards, design guidelines, material specifications, and procedures to reduce risk and maintain compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and National Grid requirements. Qualifications
* Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Civil / Structural, or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering school.
