Pay Rate: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour |First Shift

Looking for Maintenance Mechanic jobs in Ewing where your technical skills keep equipment operating at its best? This opportunity allows you to troubleshoot problems, perform repairs, and help maintain the systems that keep production moving safely and efficiently.



Maintenance Mechanic Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical certification, trade school, or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Additional training or certifications in PLCs, robotics, automation, hydraulics, pneumatics, or electrical systems are preferred.
  • Equipment manufacturer or specialized maintenance training is a plus.



Maintenance Mechanic Experience Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, Maintenance Technician, or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience maintaining and troubleshooting industrial production equipment, automated machinery, conveyors, motors, pumps, and mechanical systems.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, and industrial control systems.
  • Experience supporting robotics integration, automation systems, and end-of-arm tooling (EOAT).
  • Knowledge of injection molding equipment, automation support, and manufacturing processes is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Experience with electrical installation, conduit, wiring, and control systems.
  • Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
  • Experience using CMMS systems for maintenance tracking and documentation is preferred.
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, levels, and other testing equipment.
  • Experience with fabrication, machine shop tools, and repair part creation is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment failures and minimize downtime.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and respond effectively to urgent maintenance needs.
  • Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to document repairs and communicate maintenance needs with production teams.



Maintenance Mechanic Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in various positions for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials, tools, and equipment as required.
  • Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, precision measuring equipment, hoists, cranes, and other maintenance equipment.
  • Ability to work around industrial machinery, conveyors, robotics, and automated production equipment.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving equipment, dust, and varying temperatures.
  • Ability to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs in a fast-paced production environment.


Maintenance Mechanic Job Duties

  • Maintain production equipment and mechanical systems to ensure safe, reliable operation.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyors, production machines, and automated equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions by observing operation, identifying issues, and using diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
  • Repair, replace, adjust, and align defective machine components using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments.
  • Inspect equipment parts to determine wear, damage, and repair requirements.
  • Fabricate repair parts using machine shop equipment and tools as needed.
  • Support PLC troubleshooting, robotics, automation systems, and production equipment controls.
  • Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, including wiring, conduit installation, and component replacement.
  • Complete equipment adjustments, calibration checks, and operational testing.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation through CMMS systems.
  • Manage maintenance parts, tools, and supply inventory levels.
  • Communicate equipment issues, repair status, and maintenance needs with production teams and leadership.
  • Provide guidance to production employees on routine equipment care and preventative maintenance practices.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following all safety procedures and regulations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, equipment upgrades, and process optimization efforts.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to achieve operational goals.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
