Our Northeast Division is a well-respected and award-winning group where career development, training, and mentoring co-exist with diverse civil, environmental, water resources, infrastructure, and traffic/transportation projects in a fast-paced and challenging work environment.

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Senior Hydrogeologist to join our team inthe Northeast. In thishybridrole,you'llmanage, support, and deliver a variety of water resource projects across New England, including:



  • Baseline hydrologic and water resource studies
  • Groundwater studies and water supply projects
  • Permitting and operational support
  • Contaminant investigations


Primary Responsibilities:



  • Lead project teams in hydrogeologic analyses for water supply, effluent recharge and mounding analysis for wastewater, and environmental projects
  • Manage staff and oversee data collection activities
  • Conduct and analyze aquifer tests and predictive surface and groundwater modeling
  • Prepare detailed reports, data visualizations, and hydrogeological studies
  • Coordinate regulatory compliance, manage permitting with state and federal agencies, and prepare regulatory permit applications
  • Participate in business development opportunities
  • Mentor and coach less experienced staffto foster their growth


What we're looking for:



  • Bachelor's degreein Geology, Hydrogeology, Engineering Geology, orarelated fieldisrequired
  • Master's degree isone of the above areas ispreferred
  • Must be a licensed Professional Geologist in Massachusetts or obtain MA licensure within one year of your start date.
  • 8+ years of relevant experienceisrequired
  • Prior experience with groundwater modeling and flow models
  • Expertisein hydrogeologic analyses for water supply, wastewater disposal, and environmental projects
  • Should have project management, public presentation, and regulatory coordinationskills
  • Experience with contaminant transport modelingis preferred
