- Lead the Sales Team: Direct, motivate, coach, and mentor a professional sales team to achieve company objectives and deliver exceptional results.
- Drive Sales Strategy & Performance: Develop and implement sales plans, establish department benchmarks and budgets, analyze sales performance, and lead initiatives that support growth and profitability.
- Support Customer Success: Build lasting customer relationships by understanding customer needs, resolving concerns, and partnering with all store departments to deliver a world-class customer experience.
- Develop People & Talent: Advise, train, and develop sales team members in prospecting, closing, product knowledge, negotiation, territory management, productivity, and gross margin performance.
- Manage Operations & Resources: Oversee sales activity reporting, inventory, assets, and the effective allocation of physical, financial, and people resources to support business objectives.
- Strengthen Market Position: Lead the team in effectively utilizing manufacturer programs and products to grow market share while maintaining the company's reputation and stakeholder relationships

What You Will Need:
- Leadership Experience: Previous supervisory or management experience with a proven ability to motivate, develop, and lead high-performing teams.
- Sales & Industry Expertise: Industry and/or heavy equipment retail sales experience with a strong understanding of sales operations and customer relationship management.
- Communication & Technology Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills along with the computer skills necessary to drive collaboration, efficiency, and business performance.
- Market & Business Knowledge: Solid understanding of local market conditions and the ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
- Customer Focus: Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to building long-term customer relationships and delivering solutions.
- Valid work authorization: Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
