We are seeking a Care Coordinator to join our Counseling Center team. MSK counselors provide support to individuals, couples, and families, both in outpatient settings and during hospital stays. We welcome all people with cancer, whether they receive care at MSK or another institution.

Role Overview:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for patients and clients, ensuring a welcoming, efficient, and supportive experience
  • Greet clients and provide assistance upon arrival
  • Communicate wait times, scheduling updates, and service information
  • Explain center policies related to payments, cancellations, and attendance
  • Answer incoming calls, screen for appropriate services, and schedule appointments
  • Respond to patient inquiries through the Patient Portal
  • Support virtual mind-body and exercise programs, including enrollment and technical assistance
  • Reconcile daily financial transactions and prepare deposits
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve client concerns and support overall operations

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a patient-facing healthcare setting
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding customer service
  • Interest in behavioral health, counseling services, integrative medicine, or patient support programs
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills

Additional Information:

  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm
  • Training: On-site training for 3 months, hybrid schedule after training
  • Location: 160 E. 53rd Street
  • Reporting to the Manager

Pay Range: $24.05 - $36.21 FSLA Status: Non-Exempt
