At the request of the EOD, the Development Coordinator will interact between Major Gifts, Donor Management, Planned Giving, and Foundations, providing reporting of objectives and measurable results. License and Certifications: None. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receives checks/cash on a daily basis. - Prepares, copies, codes, and creates Donor Receipt Logs. - Scans Donor Receipt Logs and checks to Deluxe.
- Preparing and mailing. - Receipting donors. - Receipting.
- Updating donor records. - Maintaining recurring gifts. - Issuing donation receipts. - Addressing donor concerns. - Contacting donors regarding donation issues.
Physical Conditions: Essential duties require the ability to sit for long periods of time, push, pull, lift and carry up to 10 pounds for short distances, have sense of touch, reach, grasp with hands and fingers, hear, identify colors, have close vision, finger dexterity, speak, and read. Environmental Conditions: Works on many projects at once in an open office environment with interruptions and noise from ringing telephones, printers, copiers, and walk-in traffic. Miscellaneous: Time off will not ordinarily be available between November 1 and December 25. The candidate chosen for this position will be required to pass a criminal history information check. Conviction of a crime will not automatically preclude employment. The circumstances involved in the conviction(s) will be considered. High School or Equivalent (required)
Some college of Business Administration (preferred) Experience
3 - 5 years: Minimum work experience of 3-5 years administrative support to leadership position(s). Background or related education in a nonprofit development environment. (required)
