Pre-Installer

LaForce is looking for a Pre-Installer to assist other installers in the installation of door hardware, commercial doors, frames, and electrical hardware both onsite and in house.

Pay: $22-24/hr based on experience

Major Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of work orders which may involve any or all of the following:




• Adjustment or replacement of existing material
• Installation of new material
• Disassembly and removal of material
• Pre-Installation of new material on wood or metal doors




• Operate various power and hand tools, including a welder
• Submit accurate and detailed daily logsheets
• Must be able to accommodate flexible work hours. Occasional travel may be required with the position

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills and customer service skills
• Ability to read and understand specifications, wiring diagrams and blueprints is required
• Ability to add, subtract, and multiply.
• Knowledge of reading and using measuring tapes and rulers.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
