Job Summary

The Distribution Associate is responsible for supporting shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling operations within the distribution center. This role ensures accurate receipt, storage, order fulfillment, and shipment of materials while maintaining inventory integrity and following established safety procedures. The ideal candidate has experience operating forklifts, working with SAP, and performing warehouse operations independently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities



  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against shipping documentation.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment according to established procedures.
  • Put away inventory into designated storage locations accurately and efficiently.
  • Record inventory transactions and shipping activities using SAP and other warehouse systems.
  • Route materials to inspection, storage, or shipping areas as required.
  • Operate sit-down electric forklifts, hydraulic lifts, and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Complete written and electronic shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation.
  • Verify inventory accuracy and maintain organized storage locations.
  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
  • Perform additional warehouse and distribution duties as assigned.


Job Requirements



  • Minimum of 1 year of warehouse, shipping, receiving, or distribution experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • SAP experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience operating a sit-down electric forklift required; Basiloid forklift experience preferred.
  • Forklift certification is preferred.
  • Proficiency with order picking, inventory put-away, and material handling.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills.
  • Strong verbal communication and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record may be required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical warehouse activities throughout the shift.
