Job Summary

The Counter Sales Associate is responsible for providing outstanding customer service while supporting daily warehouse and sales counter operations. This role combines front-of-house customer interaction with back-of-house warehouse responsibilities, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, and forklift operation. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while handling warehouse duties and assisting customers with product selection and order pickup.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at the sales counter by assisting customers with product inquiries, orders, and pickups.
• Pull and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Operate a stand-up forklift and RF scanner to move, receive, stock, and organize inventory.
• Load customer and dealer vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Receive incoming shipments, verify product quantities, and stock inventory.
• Record inventory transactions and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and sales floor.
• Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and product organization.
• Support daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist with scheduling, ordering, and other operational tasks when required.
• Complete required product and safety training.
• Follow all company safety policies and operational procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in warehouse, customer service, retail, or counter sales preferred.
• Experience operating a stand-up forklift and RF scanner required.
• Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory, and order fulfillment preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in both customer-facing and warehouse environments.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple responsibilities.
