Location: Van Nuys, CA

Pay Rate: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year | Day Shift: 8 AM-5 PM

Looking for Counter Supervisor jobs in Van Nuys where leadership and organization drive results? This opportunity lets you oversee warehouse operations, support your team, and help ensure products move safely, accurately, and efficiently throughout the supply chain.



Counter Supervisor Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Basic computer skills, including POS and inventory systems.



Counter Supervisor Skills + Experience Requirements

  • 3+ years of construction supply, hardware, building materials, or related industry experience preferred.
  • Previous supervisory or team lead experience required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Customer service, sales, and relationship-building experience.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Construction supply or building materials product knowledge preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills a plus.



Counter Supervisor Physical Capabilities

  • Stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Move throughout the store, counter, and warehouse areas.
  • Handle products and materials as needed.
  • Perform hands-on customer service and supervisory tasks.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced construction supply environment.


Counter Supervisor Responsibilities + Job Duties

  • Oversee daily sales counter operations and order processing.
  • Supervise, train, schedule, and coach counter staff.
  • Assist customers with product questions, quotes, and special orders.
  • Coordinate customer orders with warehouse and delivery teams.
  • Monitor inventory, product displays, and counter organization.
  • Build contractor and customer relationships to support sales growth.
  • Resolve customer concerns and daily operational issues.
