Industrial Field Engineer

Location: Childress, TX

Pay: Up to $60/hour (DOE) + Per Diem

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Field Engineer to support a major industrial construction project in Childress, TX. This role serves as the critical link between engineering design and field execution, ensuring construction activities align with project specifications, quality standards, and schedule requirements.

Key Responsibilities



  • Provide on-site engineering and technical support during construction.
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and P&IDs.
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, subcontractors, and field teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Support field inspections, quality control, commissioning, startup activities, and performance testing.
  • Track project progress, document field changes, maintain as-built drawings, and prepare RFIs and submittals.
  • Identify and resolve constructability issues while maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.



Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial construction, field engineering, manufacturing, power generation, oil & gas, water treatment, data centers, or similar industries.
  • Strong ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and project documentation.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel and work extended hours, weekends, or shifts as project needs require.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.


Travel Requirement: Initial onboarding will include approximately 4 weeks in Houston, TX, before transitioning to the project site in Childress for the remainder of construction.
