We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team, focusing on the precision and consistency of our Geographic Information Systems (GIS). In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our enterprise policies, procedures, and standards are meticulously applied, contributing directly to the reliability and accuracy of our spatial data. Your work will support critical operations and help maintain the foundational data that drives our success.

What You'll Do:



  • Reference and gain a thorough understanding of department GIS Digitizing Standards.
  • Execute workflows for retrieving relevant facility documentation and meticulously reviewing GIS digitizing for accuracy.
  • Utilize GIS digitizing standards, facility documentation, and the GIS environment to rigorously evaluate database accuracy and health.
  • Transpose complex data from various source documents, including records maps, CAD drawings, land base maps, demographic models, and economic resources, into our GIS-related database.
  • Actively assist and collaborate with team members to communicate issues or necessary feedback, fostering continuous improvement in accuracy and problem identification.


What You'll Bring:

Must-Have Qualifications:



  • 0-2 years of experience in a GIS-related role.
  • Demonstrated experience with GIS software, such as ESRI, AutoDesk, Bentley, Integraph, or similar platforms.
  • A strong understanding of fundamental geographic concepts.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, applications, and database software.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.


Nice-to-Have Qualifications:



  • A Bachelor's degree in GIS, geography, computer science, or a related field.
