The Senior Manager, RGM Strategy -Snacks/Bakeryplays a critical role in turning RGM strategy into action. This role ensures that category and brand teams have clear, analytically grounded recommendations that bring pricing, promotion, and mix strategies to life in annual planning, innovation, and in market execution.

This role operates as a day to day RGM owner for defined brands or sub category scope, partnering closely with Brand, Customer Strategy, Sales, and Finance to ensure RGM levers are applied consistently and effectively. The Senior Manager supports category level strategy setting while driving strong execution, performance tracking, and continuous improvement.

What you will do...

Principal Accountabilities

The Senior Manager, RGM Strategy -Snacks/Bakeryis accountable for executional excellence and performance delivery across defined elements of the category RGM agenda.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Own RGM strategy development and execution for assigned brands, platforms, or sub category segments, aligned to the broader category roadmap

  • Develop brand pricing and price pack architecture recommendations using consumer willingness to pay, elasticity, competitive context, and margin objectives

  • Partner with Customer Strategy and Sales to design promotional recommendations, event tactics, and trade guidance for assigned scope

  • Support innovation and renovation pricing by building recommendations, financial scenarios, and post launch assessments

  • Translate RGM analytics into clear, actionable recommendations for Brand, Category, and Customer teams

  • Execute performance tracking, post event analysis, and KPI reporting to assess pricing and trade effectiveness

  • Identify risks and opportunities and recommend corrective actions to improve ROI and in market performance

  • Contribute to Category RGM Councils and performance reviews by preparing insights, diagnostics, and recommendations

  • Ensure RGM levers operate in harmony within owned scope, avoiding isolated or inconsistent decisions

Job Complexities

  • Operates in a matrixed environment, influencing Brand, Customer Strategy, Sales, and Finance partners without direct authority

  • Balances executional rigor with evolving strategic direction at the category level

  • Adjusts depth of analytics and support based on brand scale, complexity, and business needs

  • Manages competing priorities across planning cycles, innovation timelines, and in market performance needs

What you bring to the table... (Must Have)

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • 8+ years of CPG, including commercial experience across pricing, promotion, category management, customer strategy, finance, analytics, or related fields

It would be great if you have... (Nice to Have)

  • Experience developing and executing RGM recommendations for brands or sub categories

  • Strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to synthesize insights into clear recommendations

  • Proven ability to influence cross functional partners and deliver results in a matrixed organization

  • Hands on experience across pricing, promotion, mix, and/or price pack architecture

  • Experience supporting innovation pricing and in market performance evaluation

  • Comfort working with syndicated data, elasticity models, and trade analytics

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex analyses for non technical partners

  • Experience coaching or mentoring junior analysts or managers

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$133,800-$183,900

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
