Night Shift Replenishment Lead

About the Role (Job Summary)

As a Night Shift Replenishment Lead, you will play a critical role in supporting distribution center operations by coordinating inventory replenishment activities and providing day-to-day leadership to a team of Material Handlers. This position serves as a subject matter expert in warehouse operations, ensuring inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and compliance with safety and quality standards while helping maintain the flow of medical products that support patient care.

Work Shift: Sun 8:30pm start, Mon-Thurs 9:30pm start

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

  • Coordinate and prioritize nightly replenishment activities to ensure inventory is available to support outbound operations and customer orders.

  • Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and training to Material Handlers while serving as a warehouse subject matter expert.

  • Monitor inventory accuracy through scanning, inventory transactions, cycle counting, and troubleshooting inventory discrepancies.

  • Safely operate and support the use of material handling equipment, including reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, and tuggers.

  • Identify operational challenges and implement solutions that improve productivity, workflow efficiency, inventory accuracy, and service levels.

  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence by ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Partner with supervisors and cross-functional teams to communicate priorities, resolve issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Basic Requirements

  • Typically requires 5+ years of related experience

  • Experience supporting warehouse operations, inventory control, replenishment, receiving, shipping, or material handling functions.

  • Experience using RF scanners, mobile devices, or warehouse management systems (WMS).

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate work, train team members, or serve as a lead resource in an operational environment.

  • Ability to work a night shift schedule in a fast-paced distribution center environment.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Working knowledge of warehouse management systems such as Accumax or similar WMS platforms.

  • Strong understanding of inventory management, cycle counting, replenishment processes, and root cause analysis.

  • Proven experience supporting process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.

  • Positive attitude with a demonstrated commitment to teamwork, quality, reliability, and attendance.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain certification on warehouse equipment, including forklifts and reach trucks.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • On-site position within a distribution center environment; remote work is not available.

  • Must be comfortable working at heights and in temperature-controlled or refrigerated areas when required.

  • Ability to walk extensively throughout a shift, including up to approximately 10 miles depending on workload.

  • Ability to lift and move 20-50 lbs. regularly and participate in team lifts for heavier products.

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and stooping throughout the shift.

  • Ability to work overtime, extended shifts, weekends, or holidays as business needs require.

  • Must have the visual and hearing capabilities necessary to safely operate equipment and perform warehouse tasks.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $18.56 - $30.94
