Harbor Medical Associates Allergy Division in Duxbury is a busy outpatient specialty practice providing comprehensive allergy, asthma, and immunology care for pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients. The practice offers advanced diagnostic and treatment services, including allergy testing, immunotherapy, asthma management, food allergy care, and evaluation of immune disorders. As part of the Mass General Brigham network, the team is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care in a collaborative environment focused on exceptional patient outcomes.
We are seeking a part time, 24-Hour Registered Nurse to join our Allergy team, supporting our Duxbury practice located at 40 Tremont Street. The schedule includes Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday coverage, with Saturdays typically running from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (approximately 4-5 hours). While this position is primarily based in Duxbury, occasional travel to the Stetson office may be required to provide coverage as needed. This role is primarily focused on direct patient care (approximately 90%), with the remaining time dedicated to documentation and other computer-based responsibilities. The practice is fast-paced, providing allergy injections, allergy testing, and comprehensive care to patients with allergic and immunologic conditions. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a hands-on clinical environment, thrives in a busy practice, and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care. You'll work alongside an experienced and supportive team in a collaborative environment dedicated to providing high-quality patient care. Responsible for patient care and support within the outpatient setting through providing compassionate care, assisting in procedures, and collaborating effectively in a dynamic ambulatory care environment. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions: -Deliver direct patient care and support, ensuring high nursing standards. -Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety. -Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care. -Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care. -Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations. -Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
