Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Safely transport products, raw materials, and supplies between company facilities, vendors, customers, and distribution centers.


  • Perform local and regional deliveries and pickups, including bulk resin transportation from rail-served facilities.


  • Operate tractor-trailers, box trucks, forklifts, and pneumatic tanker equipment, including PTO blower systems.


  • Safely secure, load, unload, and verify shipments to ensure accurate delivery and inventory control.


  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.


  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and assist with routine maintenance scheduling.


  • Complete required DOT logs, transportation records, and shipping documentation accurately.


  • Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, including DOT requirements and company safety policies.


  • Support warehouse and manufacturing operations when not driving.


  • Provide outstanding service to internal and external customers while maintaining professionalism and accountability.


  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Required



  • High school diploma or equivalent.


  • Valid CDL Class A license with Tanker (N) endorsement.


  • Valid DOT medical certification and acceptable driving record.


  • Ability to pass DOT-required drug and alcohol testing.


  • Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.


  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Preferred



  • Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification.


  • Warehouse, shipping, distribution, or manufacturing experience.


  • Experience with pneumatic tanker operations or bulk material transportation.


Reporting Relationships

Reports To: Fleet Operations Supervisor

Authority



  • Stop work involving unsafe conditions or non-conforming materials.


  • Report quality or safety concerns to management.


  • Make operational decisions consistent with company policies, safety standards, and quality requirements.
