The Environmental Services Department plays a vital role in ensuring that the hospital remains clean and safe for patients, staff, and visitors. As a member of this team, the main duties will be to clean and sanitize all areas of the hospital including patient rooms, offices, waiting areas, and meeting rooms.

Environmental Services (EVS) Team Lead supports the EVS leadership team by coordinating daily operations, directing workflow, and ensuring high-quality environmental services. This role provides hands-on training, conducts quality inspections, promotes exceptional customer service, and helps maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Job Description:

• Coordinate daily EVS operations, workflow, and staff assignments to ensure efficient service delivery.

• Support EVS leadership with shift operations, bed throughput, and linen distribution.

• Train, mentor, and support new and existing team members.

• Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards.

• Monitor inventory and maintain adequate supplies and linen levels.

• Collaborate with nursing and other departments to support patient care and operational excellence.

• Promote exceptional customer service, patient experience, and a positive team culture.

• Assist with regulatory readiness, audits, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 1 Year of Experience

• 1-2 years of Environmental Services

• 1 year of restorative floor care or 1 year of sterile field experience

Preferred Experiences:

• 2+ years of customer service,

• 1-2 years in supervisory role, and/or 1-2 years of hospitality experience.
