To ensure safe, reliable and efficient management of inventory to meet the forecast requirements of internal business partners that enable planned andemergent activities within agreed upon KPIs

About the Role

The Operational Service team's objective is to support the delivery of a safe, compliant & fit for purpose planning process that aligns with Woodside values andexpectations. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our Operational Services team that will be supporting both Gulf of America and Beaumont New Ammonia. As a member of this team, you will be instrumental at ensuring the smooth planning through collaboration and embedment, while optimizing inventory in support of our asset's budget and operational requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Interfaces & Accountabilities:



  • Maintain stocking strategies and inventory rulesets
  • Maintain min/max levels and safety stock
  • Identify and remedy potential issues such as stock-outs
  • Monitor and address MRP Exceptions
  • Address inventory inquiries from stakeholders
  • Develop strong working relationships with stakeholders includingmaintenance, warehousing, and purchasing team to promote inventory optimization
  • Support rotable refurbishment process
  • Process master data updates for new and existing materials andsupport phase out of obsolete materials.
  • Ensure capital spares are purchased and serialized through currentprocess
  • Liase with stakeholders to ensure materials are tracked for deliveryon-time, identifying and addressing actual & potential issues
  • Travel to Woodside offices, shorebase, platform, supplier and third-party storage locations, as required or necessary



Work Processes & Systems:



  • Responsible for safe, reliable and efficient material service delivery and
  • optimization of inventory held in Woodside managed, third party and vendor storage locations using the following processes and systems:


    • Master Data Management and Remote Logistics Modules
    • Material Requirements Planning
    • Exception Management
    • Management of Physical Stocktakes
    • Forward/reverse logistics including rotables management
    • Disposals




Leadership:



  • Responsible for facilitating Inventory Planning routines with other sub functions and Operational teams to ensure material readiness
  • Promote compliance to processes and proceed with the business
  • Ensure compliance to company and joint operating partner requirements
  • Collaborate to drive standardization, end-to-end efficiencies and elimination of waste
  • Active participation in community affairs

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years' experience with SAP Materials Management, managing inventory and materials master data in oil and gas or similar asset intensive industry
  • Inventory categorization and optimization within a complex supply network
  • Demonstrated deep understanding of warehousing, distribution and logistics
  • Ability to influence and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Analytical aptitude with ability to analyze and interpret data to substantiate decision making
  • Minimum of 3 years industry experience utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning software
  • Strong English written and oral communication skills, business acumen
  • Experience working with operations, maintenance or engineering teams
  • Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail
  • Intermediate and advance Excel Skills base
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
