We are looking for a highly motivated new graduate to join our team as a Verification Engineer. In this role, you will help build and run the verification frameworks, test environments, and automation infrastructure for ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) drivers and networking software across our current and next-generation products. You will learn verification methodology hands-on from experienced engineers, grow your skills across the software, driver, and hardware layers, and contribute to the quality and reliability of our products from day one. You will be working alongside a closely-knit cross-functional team of experienced software, hardware, and ASIC engineers.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain verification automation and test scripts in Ruby and Python for ASIC drivers.
  • Build and run test environments and test suites to validate ASIC driver and networking software functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Execute test plans, analyze results, and contribute to coverage analysis and coverage closure under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Reproduce customer-reported and internally-discovered issues, and assist in root cause analysis across the software, driver, and hardware layers.
  • Participate in code reviews of verification code, and learn and apply engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with software, hardware, and ASIC engineers to reproduce defects and validate fixes.
  • Use and help maintain tools that generate network traffic, simulate test scenarios, and measure performance and reliability.
  • Learn verification methodology, tooling, and processes, and grow into an independent contributor on the verification team.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • 0 to 2 years of software development or verification engineering experience (internships, co-ops, and academic projects count).
  • Programming experience in Python or a similar scripting language, with a willingness to learn Ruby.
  • Foundational understanding of TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
  • Working knowledge of the Linux command line and experience developing on Linux.
  • Solid programming fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and clean code practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues logically and systematically.
  • Experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) to accelerate development and debugging, with the judgment to review, validate, and take ownership of AI-generated output.
  • Strong communications skills, and ability to work in a collaborative cross-functional environment.
  • Eagerness to learn, take feedback, and research and master new technologies quickly.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Internship, co-op, or project experience with test automation, scripting, or verification.
  • Coursework or projects involving computer networking, operating systems, or embedded systems.
  • Exposure to kernel-space code, device drivers, or programming in C.
  • Familiarity with network packet analyzers (e.g., Wireshark) or traffic generators (e.g., Ixia, Spirent).
  • Experience contributing to open-source projects, or personal projects on GitHub.
  • Experience with prompt engineering, AI-assisted test generation, or building scripts/tools that integrate LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic).
  • Familiarity with any of the following areas:
    • Protocols & Networking: BGP, OSPF, LACP, STP/RSTP/MSTP, ARP, DNS, IPsec, IPv6, TLS, multicast, VXLAN, GRE, SD-WAN, QoS (Quality of Service)
    • Security: Cryptography fundamentals, mTLS, PKI/certificate management, network security protocols
    • DevOps: Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, test automation
    • Performance & Tools: network packet analyzers (e.g., Wireshark), benchmark testing, traffic generation tools
