Marketing Design &Proposal Coordinator (Private/Public)
Richard Purpose Builders is entering an exciting new chapter as we expand our presence in the private sector while building on our nationally recognized federal portfolio. We're looking for a creative, organized, and driven Marketing Design & Proposal Coordinator who is a seasoned strategist, capable of playing a meaningful role in winning the work that shapes our future. This role is much more than assembling proposals. You'll help lead the pursuit process from kickoff through submission, working alongside with Business Development, Brand Marketing, Operations, Estimating, Safety, Quality Control, and executive leadership to develop compelling proposals, presentations, and marketing materials that showcase who we are and why we build.

The ideal candidate brings order to complex projects, collaborating with pursuit of contributors, and transforming ideas into clear, visually engaging, and persuasive deliverables. Whether coordinating a high-profile pursuit or developing marketing collateral, you'll have the opportunity to own projects from start to finish while making a direct impact on the company's continued growth.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain proposal schedules, calendars, compliance matrices, and action trackers.

  • Review solicitations, amendments, and proposal instructions.

  • Organize proposal kickoff materials and attend internal kickoff/pre-bid meetings.

  • Track required forms, attachments, resumes, project sheets, and certifications.

  • Coordinate with various departments such as Business Development, Brand Marketing, Estimating, Operations, Safety, QC, and executive leadership.

  • Draft, edit, proofread, and format proposal content.

  • Maintain proposal folders and proposal library materials.

  • Track questions, RFIs, clarifications, amendments, and deadlines.

  • Prepare final submission files and print-ready PDFs.

  • Deliver and verify proposals are submitted before deadline.

  • Maintain post-mortem learnings and post-submission records.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of proposal coordination, marketing coordination, bid coordination, or pursuit support experience.

  • Proficient in InDesign. Ability to create multi-page layouts, with master pages, style guides, and library components.

  • Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Teams, and SharePoint skills.

  • Experience designing construction proposals, design-build proposals, or public / private sector bids that align with brand standards.

  • Strong writing, Associated Press (AP) editing, proofreading, and formatting skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret bid solicitations and RFP instructions.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

  • High attention to detail.

  • Ability to collaborate cross-departmentally with pursuit contributors and translate input into clear proposal language.

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting small business participation plans or subcontracting plans.

  • Proficient Photoshop, and Illustrator.

Pay Range:$70,000.00-$95,000.00

The base salary range for this position as of posting is Richard's good faith estimate of the possible compensation for this role. The range for this role takes into account the factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.Richard is an equal opportunity employer.
