As a Security Officer Screening - Logistics Site in Spartanburg, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by screening individuals and belongings, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, delivery personnel, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures and access screening requirements at a technology-focused location.
• Screen individuals and permitted items entering designated areas using established screening equipment and procedures, escalating prohibited or suspicious items in accordance with site policy.
• Verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain accurate logs and documentation for screening-related activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entry points, and surrounding perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or potential policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
