Description Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Application Services, the Associate Director serves as a key member of the Information Technology Services (ITS) leadership team. This role plays an important part in advancing the organization's enterprise applications strategy, partnering with business leaders to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement, and helping shape the future of business services through technology. Working collaboratively with ITS leadership, the Associate Director contributes to strategic planning, technology priorities, and initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness and support long-term goals. This position leads a team of business analysts who partner with stakeholders across the organization to improve business processes, maximize the value of enterprise systems, and deliver technology solutions that support organizational goals. The ideal candidate is an experienced Business Analyst who is ready to take the next step into organizational leadership. This role offers the opportunity to lead a highly collaborative team, influence enterprise-wide technology decisions, engage with senior leaders, and help drive innovation through emerging technologies, automation, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions. Additional Skills & Qualifications - Proven leadership experience managing or mentoring a team in a complex environment - Strong business analysis expertise (requirements gathering, process mapping, solution design) - Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and technology-enabled transformation - Experience with enterprise applications (ERP and/or large-scale business systems preferred) - Track record of partnering with senior leaders and influencing strategic decisions - Ability to manage multiple initiatives and competing priorities simultaneously - Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills - Experience with vendor management, evaluations, and performance oversight - Knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, automation, analytics) and their business application Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Albany, NY.
