Summary:

An EquipmentOperator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation ofassigned poweredmaterial handlingequipmentincluding but not limited to: Sit DownForklift, Reach Truck, Order Picker, Pallet Jack, Pallet Stacker and Pallet Jackto supportall facets ofahigh-volumedistribution center.

Essential Functions:

Follow all safety rules tomaintainpersonal safety and the safety ofothersincludingmaintainingclean work areas.

Operateelectric poweredsit-downelectricforklifts, order pickers, reachtrucks and pallet jacks incompliance withall OSHA regulations.

Load, unload,retrieve,stackand store productsinaneat,safeand productive manner.

Transportproduct or suppliestodesignatedareasto support operational needs.

Usepallet wrappingmachinery, floor scales,RFequipment, automated dockequipmentand company issued utility knife.

PerformForklift Operator Daily Checklists on assigned equipment.

Report anyaccidents, near missesor hazardous conditions.

Perform generalhousekeeping dutiesas needed.

Communicate effectively with internal and external customers toeffectivelysupport operations.

Ability to work overtimeincluding weekends when required.

Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately.

Qualifications:

Experiencein thesafe operationofpowered industrial truck(s)in a warehouse preferred.

Must be able to passtheReaderLinkPowered Industrial TruckSafety & Certificationtrainingcourse to obtainlicensevalid for three years.

Basic computer skillswith WMS,RFand scanning experience.

Must be able to stand and walk up 8 to 10 hours a day.

Must be ablerepetitively reachup and out.

Must be ablepush/pull up to 25 pounds repeatedly and occasionally push/pull up to 75 pounds.

Willfrequentlylift upto 50 pounds and occasionallylift upto 75 pounds.

Must be able to perform repetitive foot movement.

The work performed is in a high-volume distribution center environment.

The employee isfrequentlyexposed to vibrations,dustand will be working around moving machinery.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate at low decibels.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Frequently exposed to noise, dust, vibration, heat, cold and moving machinery.
