Description
Job Summary

  • Establish and enforce standards for equipment installation, testing, operation, inspection, and maintenance while following engineering and safety regulations.
  • Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and industrial automation systems.
  • Provide technical support for process improvements and equipment modifications across departments.
  • Install and maintain electrical wiring, circuits, switches, controls, and electronic devices.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Identify and implement equipment upgrades and process improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Create purchase orders for replacement parts and equipment.
  • Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE, and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) procedures.
  • Perform additional maintenance-related duties as assigned.
  • Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical wiring systems.
  • Maintain high-quality workmanship with strong attention to detail.
  • Meet physical demands, including lifting up to 50 lbs., standing/walking for extended shifts, and performing bending, kneeling, reaching, and operating motorized equipment.
  • Work in a manufacturing environment with noise exposure requiring hearing protection.
  • Assist the Plant Manager with after-hours maintenance calls as needed.


Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or technical certification required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of electromechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Strong knowledge of electromechanical codes, standards, and safety practices.
  • Physical stamina to perform maintenance tasks throughout 8-12-hour shifts.
