Job Overview

The Food Service Systems Business Analyst analyzes industry trends and data in order to formulate actionable insights and business strategies. The Analyst provides operation analytics to support functional business area, departmental goals and business outcomes. The Analyst coordinates reporting activities for department/unit and provides systems training and support.

Location: Aurora, CO (on-site)

Job Status: Full-time, salaried

Shift: Days, Monday - Friday

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manages all software systems used for food services in patient and retail areas
  • Builds and updates components of the system including items maintenance, recipes, service menus, meal food lists
  • Works with IT and vendor to provide system and database functionality support to end users and troubleshoot issues
  • Administrator for Quickcharge POS solutions and Poppulo (Four Winds) menu boards
  • Trains managers, cooks, and other team members how to utilize the software
  • Primary contact with internal and external IT partners

Scope and Level

  • Guidelines: Guidelines are generally numerous, well established, and directly applicable to the work assignment. Work assignment and desired results are explained by general oral or written instructions.
  • Complexity: Duties assigned are generally repetitive and restricted in scope but may be of substantial intricacy. Employee primarily applies standardized practices.
  • Decision Making: Decisions or recommendations on non-standardized situations are limited to relating organizational policies to specific cases. Brings non routine issues to supervisor. Problems that are not covered by guidelines or are without precedent are taken up with the supervisor.
  • Communications: Contacts with the public or employees where explanatory or interpretive information is exchanged, gathered, or presented and some degree of discretion and judgment are required within the parameters of the job function.
  • Supervision Received: Under normal supervision, within a standardized work situation, the employee performs duties common to the line of work without close supervision or detailed instruction. Work product is subject to continual review.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degrees
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Nutrition, Health Care Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • Three years of previous experience in data analytics and/or operational analysis.
  • Equivalency
    • Professional experience, beyond requirements, in a related field may substitute for a Bachelor degree requirement on a year for year basis

Salary Information
Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $61,473.39 to $92,210.08
