Coperion is currently seeking an Sr. Electrical Assembler to support our location in Whitewater, WI. The Electrical Assembler will support Operations by diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding electronics to support customer requirements. We have a 5S environment, very clean production floor and great people to work with!

Schedule: 1st shift Monday-Thursday 6 am - 3 pm & Friday 6 am - Noon

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Assembly & Testing:Perform wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on subassemblies and units, following detailed schematics, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Systems Integration:Integrate subassemblies into final hardware and perform final assembly of systems.
  • Electrical Testing:Conduct basic electrical tests to verify functionality and compliance with quality standards.
  • Rework & Refurbishment:Perform more complex rework and refurbishment of hardware and systems according to specifications.
  • Quality Control:Conduct manufacturing inspections in accordance with quality specifications and ensure compliance with safety and compliance standards.
  • Leadership & Training:Act as a technical lead for largescale projects, mentor junior assemblers, and train on new processes or technologies.
  • Collaboration:Work with engineering, quality, and project management teams to ensure designs meet business, quality, and timeline requirements.
  • Documentation & Compliance:Maintain accurate production logs, interpret technical documents, and ensure adherence to ISO and electrical industry standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education:Technical degree in electrical or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience:Minimum 3-5+ years in electrical assembly, with 2+ years in a supervisory or senior role.
  • Technical Proficiency:Proficient in using hand and power tools, soldering irons, crimpers, and electrical testing equipment.
  • Soft Skills:Strong attention to detail, problemsolving ability, communication skills, and ability to work independently and in teams.
