Provides nursingassistanceand patient care to provide for the comfort,safetyand personal needs of patients.Assistsphysicians/physician assistants/nurse practitioners in medical officesetting.Performs a variety of patient care duties within the construct of a multidisciplinary patient care team as delegated by physician.Specific duties and responsibilities assigned to the individual will be determined by the supervising physician(s), clinical staff and Practice Coordinator after competency is established.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

1. One (1) year ofhealthcareexperience as a Medical Assistant.
2. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Supportcertification.
3. Visual color acuityscreening dependingon the role in specific units.
