The Charging Operations team ensures that Tesla continues to deliver the best possible charging customer experience through proactive engagement and growth of the global charging network. The Contract Compliance Lead works on the Charging Operations team in Palo Alto, CA. This role is responsible for maintaining contract data accuracy and compliance for our global Charging network. The role is responsible for program management with a nimble team to meeting obligation, innovate and provide reliable data for critical business decisions and planning. The team and program require highly creative lead willing to leverage AI solutions to keep pace with scale & complexity. The individual will work closely with internal stakeholders (Legal, Business Development, IT & Analytics, and other Operations leads) in addition to external stakeholders like Charging site hosts. What You'll Do Own accuracy and integrity of the contract management system: Set data standards, oversee critical-date management, and lead design of process flows, SOPs, and SLAs for the team Lead agreement lifecycle operations: Manage documentation tracking, resolve missing-lease issues and storage of data Direct management of lease obligations end-to-end (one-time, monthly, quarterly, yearly, and ad-hoc reports, insurance, and legal notices), ensuring compliance, accountability, and timely execution through the team Serve as primary Charging business partner to internal stakeholders: Act as escalation owner for disputes, oversee the shared ticketing inbox, hold the team to 2-day response SLAs, and deliver progress/status reporting to leadership Drive operational excellence: Lead automation and process improvements with internal systems and stakeholders; define intermediate and long-term solutions that scale the function What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study, or equivalent experience Required experience in real estate or lease administration; accounts payable/receivable experience preferred Experience building agentic solutions for repetitive tasks and driving operational efficiency Proven ability to coordinate and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Detail-oriented with a focused yet flexible approach to critical tasks Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Compensation and Benefits Benefits Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire: Medical plans > plan options with $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, both have options with a $0 paycheck contribution Company Paid (Health Savings Accounts) HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High-Deductible medical plan with HSA Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits Company paid Basic Life, AD&D Short-term and long-term disability insurance (90 day waiting period) Employee Assistance Program Sick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions, Accrued hours for Hourly positions), and Paid Holidays Back-up childcare and parenting support resources Voluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insurance Weight Loss and Tobacco Cessation Programs Tesla Babies program Commuter benefits Employee discounts and perks program Expected Compensation $80,000 - $192,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
