Primary City/State: Osborn Medical CenterCategory: Healthcare SupportShift: NightDepartment: Emergency DepartmentThis Level I Trauma Center Emergency Department offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment that cares for approximately 140-150 patients each day. Utilizing a team nursing model, Patient Care Technicians partner closely with nurses and paramedics to provide exceptional patient care and support throughout the department. In addition to standard ER PCT responsibilities, team members have the opportunity to develop advanced skills such as straight sticks, splinting, and trauma support through comprehensive on-the-job training. PCTs rotate through a variety of roles, including direct patient care, unit support responsibilities, and, with advanced training, trauma tech functions. This position is ideal for nursing students, EMTs, aspiring firefighters, future PAs, and individuals pursuing trauma-related healthcare careers who are looking to gain experience in a high-acuity setting. Prior emergency department experience is strongly preferred but not required, as extensive training and development are provided. Candidates seeking exposure to complex patient care, trauma services, and a collaborative multidisciplinary team will find exceptional growth opportunities within this dynamic emergency department. This position is afull-time Night shift working with 3-12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM-7:30 AM. We offer self-scheduling for shift and weekend coverage. Scheduled workdays may vary, as there are no set or fixed days. Weekend and Holiday Rotations are required in this role.
