Summary:

The Marketing Analyst is someone who has a business/impact mindset with strong technical analytical skills to turn data into insights. They will partner with marketers across the organization to dig into strategic questions, and their insights will help drive the prioritization and outcomes of the team's efforts. In addition, analyze and interpret data to inform go-forward business and marketing strategy. Monitor and evaluate the performance of marketing initiatives and the impact of marketing activities on engagement, sales, and ROI. Ability to manage internal stakeholders across the organization and influence and collaborate across other vertical teams in a highly matrixed environment. Work with teams to provide reporting and learnings on a regular basis and as needed.

Responsibilities:



  • Track and identify underlying drivers of KPI targets & metrics, synthesize findings and communicate insights
  • Manage digital product performance to identify new product levers and opportunities for improvement of our existing product toolkit
  • Ad hoc analyses and tasks to support personalization initiatives and product launches
  • Collaborate with Product Manager(s) in making product and business decisions based on data insights and A/B testing experiment results
  • Manage A/B Testing monitoring and analyses and execute strategy
  • Analyze the impact of proposed and actual product changes. Assist PM's in delivering product enhancements as defined by the Product Manager's Roadmap
  • Develop, manage, and maintain backend product data pipelines
  • Own and execute ad hoc and long-term strategic projects


Requirements:



  • 3-6 years' experience in a large IT organization with responsibility and demonstrated success for developing Data and Analytics products or services
  • BS degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableu and Microstrategy
  • Good knowledge of metadata and using/managing metadata
  • Excellent communication skills and can confidently communicate to all levels of the business from operational to executive
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to develop products and services. Ability to build interdepartmental relationships
  • Desire to make a difference, engage customers, shape a strategy, and build the right solution
  • Exceptional critical reasoning, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lay out edge cases, identify dependencies, and lay out the if/then in any scenario
  • Familiarity with the identification and resolution of issues working with disparate sources of data and data quality issues
  • Ability to dig into the fine details of projects but also articulate product strategy and vision
  • Experience working with web, mobile logs, and transaction systems
  • Experience with data analysis, experimentation, and measurement tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or home-built systems
  • Working experience building integrations between different products
  • Ability to research and contribute (from a PM perspective) to API development
  • Working SQL and database design knowledge
  • Self-starter requires minimal supervision
  • Strong project management skills
