The Safety Health Work Practice Consultant works as a member of the corporate safety team to champion and support all aspects of safety and health for employees. They will provide technical guidance to employees regarding health and safety issues. Additionally, they will attend safety meetings to promote awareness and to provide internal customer support. The Safety Health Work Practice Consultant will develop and provide specialized training, design, present and assist in the implementation of safe work practices and procedures based upon on-site observations, data sampling and regulatory compliance. They will also assist with investigations of incidents and near misses and assist with work practice assessments to ensure compliance. After hours emergency response may be required. This position may require a significant amount of driving. The areas of support are located primarily in eastern and southwest Washington, with occasional travel to Montana. Employee's are provided with a vehicle for travel. Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE's operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety. Demonstrates commitment to conduct business honestly, ethically and consistent with our core values and Code of Conduct. Ensures duties are performed in accordance with all regulatory compliance obligations. This job is considered "safety sensitive" as defined in RCW 49.44.240 and is subject to pre-employment drug screening that includes screening for the presence of marijuana and marijuana metabolites. The pay range for this position is$82,000.00-$136,300.00, and this position is eligible for annual goals based incentive bonuses. PSE offers a suite of benefits to our employees.
