Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
As part of the Troemner, LLC Engineering Department, you will be responsible to support design development, maintenance, and testing of products and/or systems by performing the following duties. What you will do:
- Perform product testing in accordance with protocol or verbal instruction provided. Testing includes identifying and compiling resources to execute defined tests along with using applicable devices to measure, test, and/or record performance.
- Maintain test instrumentation in accordance with ISO compliance guidelines.
- Assemble and/or perform testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
- Analyze test data and reports to determine if design meets functional and performance specifications.
- Confer with product management, manufacturing and technical personnel to resolve challenges; supporting design and supply chain modifications as required
- Interface with vendors as necessary
- Lead 5S initiatives with recurring application of principles to sustain an efficient working environment for above duties
- Prepare product or system layout and detailed drawings, schematics and structured documentation
- Other duties may be assigned.
What You Need to Succeed
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in routinely using engineering tools including test equipment, electronic device programming, calibration tools and computer programs including Microsoft Office, Solidworks & Creo CAD package, and other routine office equipment. Interfaces with all functional groups and customers.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Design software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
