Description

Knife River is seeking an Aggregate Supervisor. This position will work in our pits primarily based in Idaho Falls. Responsible to safely supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in aggregate production. To assist with operations to assure that quality aggregates are produced at maximum production levels. This position will also be involved in the promotion and
enforcement of our Safety program, former Safety experience will be taken into consideration for candidates.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

1. Coordinate and direct all pit activities including loading, scaling, and mine plans in multiple locations.
2. Efficient at multi-tasking and working under short time constraints.
3. Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written) and work with difficult people under high stress situations . Self-motivated,
team-player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations and act courteous/respectful of others.
4. Troubleshoot and problem solve situations/problems (material quality, equipment operation/repair, etc.). Monitor and discuss
production problems with co-workers and managers/supervisors.
5. Ensure MSHA, OSHA, EPA, DNR, Lockout/Tagout, safety and environmental regulation compliance.
6. Coordinate with other areas of the company - including subcontractors, quality control, trucking, and plant.
7. Performs other duties as assigned.
8. This position will work primarily in the Southern Idaho area.
9. Enter time in company system, and manage team schedule.

Minimum Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
1. 5+ years of proven crushing operations experience and leadership/supervisory experience is highly preferred.
2. Supervisory and Strong communication skills (verbal and written)as well as basic computer skills
3. Valid Idaho driver's license and clean driving record
4. Strong commitment to quality, safety and customer satisfaction
