Position Overview

As a Search Performance Manager, you will analyze and optimize first-party suppliers' search campaigns to meet their marketing objectives, drive revenue growth, and foster product improvements. Working closely with Sales, Account Management, Campaign Management, and API/Ad Tech partners, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies, managing budgets and bids, optimizing account configuration, targeting keywords, and delivering actionable reporting and insights.

This is an analytical, revenue-focused role solely dedicated to paid search and retail media growth within a fast-paced sales organization.


Key Responsibilities


  • Campaign Optimization & ROI: Monitor performance of Sponsored Products and execute optimization strategies to maximize return on investment (ROI) and boost advertiser satisfaction.



  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze sponsored search performance using Tableau and internal dashboards. Track performance metrics and provide actionable optimization recommendations.



  • Strategic Growth & Upselling: Identify domain, brand, category, and campaign trends to support incremental budget requests from suppliers to grow and stabilize investment.



  • Client & Stakeholder Management: Own relationships with senior client stakeholders to drive high satisfaction, retain advertisers, and reduce churn.



  • Best Practices & Guidelines: Define performance and optimization processes, build best-practice guidelines, and maintain a robust knowledge base for internal and external use.



  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Account Managers, Campaign Managers, and API platform partners to align on business plan objectives and drive exponential growth for search products.



  • Financial Health: Monitor account performance to ensure accurate billing, forecasting, and pipeline growth.




Key Required Skills


  • Paid Search Experience: In-depth understanding of the paid search landscape, keyword bidding strategies, budget cap management, and retail media search platforms.



  • Advanced Data Analytics (Excel): Strong quantitative skills to translate complex data sets into actionable strategies and clear performance reports.



  • Client Presentation (PowerPoint): Ability to craft strategic decks and translate technical performance data into client-friendly strategic recommendations.




Qualifications


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.



  • Experience: 3+ years in the advertising industry with a focus on paid search, retail search, e-commerce, or directly related experience.



  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with search platforms (Google Ads, Bing, Amazon, etc.), analytics tools (Tableau, Excel), and API/Self-Serve platforms.



  • Accountability & Leadership: Ambitious self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, strong attention to detail, and a focus on delivering high-quality results.



  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven track record of cross-functional collaboration and managing client relationships.




The target hiring compensation range for this role is _____$45____ to ______$50_____. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
