Job Duties: Associate, Banker - CSG with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in, New York, New York. Structure, analyze, and execute transactions on behalf of transportation companies in aviation, shipping, sea container and rail asset classes. Review proprietary financial models, prepare Discounted Cash Flow, Leveraged Buyout, Merger Consequences, Comparable Companies, and Precedent Transactions analysis, and help senior team members evaluate models to develop key judgments. Lead dialogue when liaising with senior bankers and product experts. Mentor junior professionals' work product, including reviewing financial modeling work and presentations prepared for transactions, board meetings, investment banking pitches and client service projects on financing topics, and asset sales, and review memoranda required to gain internal approvals from typical investment banking committees. Interact with client and management team on a regular basis to execute projects, provide updates and advice, and prepare presentation materials. Oversee financing live deal execution, including running due diligence processes, negotiating non-disclosure agreements and other legal documents with lawyers and financiers, organizing and attending deal and non-deal roadshows and liaising other investment banks and internal stakeholders. Draft financing and offering documents and assist companies in preparation of materials to present to potential buyers of the company or their securities. Conduct careful and detailed analysis of a client's financing needs and its present capital structure within the framework of its short, medium, and longer-term business strategy. Identify basic structural elements of bonds and advise on choices involved in the structuring of a bond issue. Build long-term client relationships and develop senior-level dialogue around DCM topics including, refinancing, rating advisory, and strategic alternatives.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related role. Prior employment must include two (2) years of experience with: working for clients in structured finance transactions in the transport sector applying understanding of specific roles, timing, deliverables, and scope of work; reviewing and performing quantitative analysis based on complex legal documents such as commitment papers, fee letters, and purchase and sale agreements; building technical and complex dynamic financial modeling and analysis that include numerous financing scenarios and incorporate corporate finance concepts, risk return dynamics and GAAP and non-GAAP (or foreign equivalent) principles, including cash-flow based models, three statement models, discounted cash flow analysis, and comparable company analysis; and analyzing financial statements, financial projections, and models as prepared in various formats by clients. Domestic and international required approx. 5% of the time to meet with clients and attend meetings. All travel costs reimbursed by Firm.

Annual base salary for this New York, New York-based position is $150,000.
