Accounts Payable Staff *remote*

Kratos has an exciting remote opportunity for additional staff Accounts Payable accountant who will:

• Process and verify vendor invoices for accuracy, proper coding, and approvals.
• Enter invoices into the accounting system (Deltek Costpoint).
• Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents (2-way/3-way match).
• Prepare and execute weekly/regular payment runs (checks, ACH, wires).
• Reconcile AP transactions and resolve discrepancies with vendors or internal departments.
• Monitor aging reports and ensure timely payments.
• Research and resolve invoice issues, missing documents, or price/quantity variances.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
• Support month-end and year-end close (accruals, reconciliations, reporting).
• Assist with 1099 preparation and year-end tax filing support.
• Participate in system upgrades or AP module testing.

• 2-5 years experience in Accounting/AP or college degree in Business/Accounting
• Microsoft Software Knowledge

The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Competitive salary based on experience and education
Salary Range: $56,000-$60,000
