Bookkeeper Responsible for supporting program invoicing and contract compliance. This role tracks and codes invoices for payment processing, maintains accurate financial and contract-related records, and serves as a key point of contact for routine contractual and administrative coordination. The position works closely with the Contracts Department and internal stakeholders to support compliance with contract requirements, internal policies, and applicable laws. The role also supports onboarding compliance activities, including employment verifications and required background checks. Compensation & Benefits: Estimated Starting Salary Range for Bookkeeper: $ 75,000.00 Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Bookkeeper/Accountant Responsibilities Include: Act as a focal point for contractual and program administrative communications Handle invoice tracking and coding for payment processing; coordinate with internal teams to resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure timely submission/approval Assist in the monitoring of contract performance through progress reports and analysis of contractor metrics for compliance with performance standards, applicable laws, delivery schedules, payment provisions, inspections, progress reports, and other contract requirements Ensure contract provisions and related documentation are aligned with internal policies and requirements Coordinate review and preparation with outside legal counsel when necessary Assist department leads and executives with contract interpretations and issue resolution as needed Make employment verification calls for new applicants and document verification results per internal process Handle required background checks to remain contract compliant; track status, maintain records, and escalate issues or delays as needed Confident in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities; able to multi-task and manage expectations Participate in making decisions regarding contract content, as assigned Assist on special projects as assigned
