The Division of Development and Alumni Relations at the University of Georgia advances the goals, objectives, and priorities of the university by generating private financial support, building, and maintaining relationships with alumni and donors, and assisting students with career development opportunities.
Career Center
The University of Georgia Career Center is the provider of centralized career services to undergraduate, graduate students, and alumni at The University of Georgia. Career Center staff work collaboratively with faculty and staff of all departments to enhance the career success of University of Georgia students/alumni. Several of the "nuts & bolts" services the
UGA Career Center provides to its students include career counseling, job search training, and opportunities to connect with employers.
The Career Center also serves as a corporate gateway to the University by helping employers meet key faculty/staff, understand culture and curriculum, and successfully recruit
UGA students and alumni. A broad group of corporate, government, and nonprofit employers recruit at The University of Georgia, and the Career Center facilitates this process through career fairs, on-campus interviews, and a variety of recruiting and educational programs and events. |

| Position Summary |
Reporting to the Associate Director of Career Accelerators, this position leads the execution and daily operations of the Career Accelerator Initiative, managing the full lifecycle of student engagement from recruitment through completion. This role coordinates program delivery, student experience, and partner engagement while working closely with Career Center Consultants, Employer Relations, and the Mentor Program to ensure seamless implementation. The Assistant Director plays a key role in delivering group coaching, coordinating events, and driving participation through effective communication and outreach. |

- Execute all aspects of Career Accelerator programming, including cohort management and participant experience
- Coordinate and deliver workshops, coaching sessions, networking events, employer panels, site visits, and conferences
- Ensure all required program components are implemented (e.g., eLC course, Arch Ready, mentoring, coaching sessions)
- Collaborate with Career Center consultants to facilitate programming and deliver coaching support
