Key Responsibilities
- Support engineers and scientists in conducting field tests, data collection, and inspections for various projects, including DOE, DOD, and commercial contracts.
- Assist in the preparation of technical drawings, reports, and documentation using engineering software.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot technical equipment, ensuring proper functionality during project execution.
- Perform routine fieldwork and inspections, ensuring accurate data collection and reporting to senior engineers.
- Follow established procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and project-specific standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve technical challenges during the project lifecycle.
- Flexibility required. Within reason, changes to directives, assigned responsibilities, or work-related activities may be necessary at any time to respond to shifts in working conditions, opportunities, or company objectives.
Education, Experience and Requirements
- Associate degree in Engineering Technology or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2 years of experience as an engineering technician or in a similar technical support role (required); experience with government or regulated projects (preferred).
- Relevant technical certifications in equipment operation or safety (preferred).
- Requires familiarity with engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD), testing equipment, and standard operating procedures in the field.
- Employment is contingent upon an employee's ability to pass a background check and comply with CTI's drug and alcohol testing policy, including pre-employment and, where applicable, random or other testing during employment.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Must be able to travel on a full-time basis.
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements.
